Careers at Propeller

A school like no other. A career like no other.

Propeller Academy has a unique approach towards Christian education – we want to develop capable students with a resilient faith in Jesus Christ. Our mission is to provide Christian education that is innovative, relevant, affordable and life-changing. Simply put, it’s education with a higher purpose.

We do our mission by creating irresistible learning environments with opportunities to explore meaningful relationships, rigorous academics, and relevant experiences. Propeller Academy encourages students to develop a Biblical worldview to love God, love others, and serve the World.

Elevating the art of teaching.

Show your passion and expertise for teaching as you connect students with the skills they need for academic success while integrating a Biblical worldview that prepares them for life. Be a part of our team and change the future of students as they learn to love God and others, love learning, and love serving the world.

Propeller Academy is leading the way in developing a Christian educational philosophy that integrates learning styles, multiple intelligences, inquiry based learning, responsive classrooms and positive discipline. Our rigorous academic curriculum is visually stunning, relevant, and geared to create student-centric learning. Although “what” we teach (math, language arts, science and Bible) are aligned with core learning, “how” we teach is fueled by creativity, innovation and cutting edge educational research.

Part of our design is to allow our most trusted resources, our teachers, to leverage their expertise and work with new levels of creative autonomy. Our environment is: collaborative, supportive, innovative, relational, and driven by a desire to continually learn for the sake of being more effective at our mission. Necessary change is embraced and requires the ability to adapt and model the humility of a life long learning.

We are looking for master teachers who exemplify a love for God and others. Teachers who want to connect their God-given gifts to a purpose that is bigger than a career – it is what you were wired for – and what you dream of is changing the world.

Would you like to be a part of something amazing?

Teachers will love our part-time work schedule – Monday to Thursday, 8:45 am to 3:45 pm, with built in prep time, in a collaborative and team teaching environment. The school day is 9 am to 3:30 and includes lunch and recess. Every morning, the students will begin their day with Elevate (our daily chapel and worship time), followed by classroom “morning meeting.” We will utilize a block schedule, theme based units, progressive placements in math and language arts, and implement “CompassPoint” – a progress/feedback report that students receive every 30 days. These are just a few of the many advantages of working for Propeller Academy.
We are looking for qualified K-8 licensed teachers. Our staff and teachers need to Christ followers who are practicing spiritual discipline, and active in Bible believing churches

We will not know how many openings are available until initial enrollment numbers are determined. We will begin contacting perspective teachers in May. If you are interested, please fill out our Application Form. We look forward to connecting with you!
