We are in the midst of a huge culture shift, and our kids, at younger and younger ages, are being exposed to perspectives and choices that are very difficult to navigate.
Statistics from The Kaiser Family Foundation, revealed that 8-18 year-olds devote an average of 7 hours and 38 minutes to using entertainment media across a typical day – more than 53 hours a week!
That means kids are getting over 2,700 hours a year of secular influence, which does not include time spent with peers at school. This culture shift is a perfect storm of culture change that is creating a crisis situation for our kids.
If kids attend church two hours a week, the church gets 104 hours a year to instruct and disciple kids.
At Propeller Academy, we believe parents are the primary educators of their children under God. The responsibility of raising great kids is a big job – but it can also be extremely fulfilling and joyful.
Deuteronomy 6:5-7 talks about dads and moms taking the opportunity to impress God’s Word upon the hearts of their children – everyday. Many Christian parents are looking for resources and tools to equip their children to be spiritual champions for Christ. The truth is that the cost of most Christian schools makes it unattainable for many families to enroll their children in private education.
Propeller Academy wants to be a part of the solution that Christian families are looking for. We are committed to finding ways to be innovative, efficient and productive so that we are an affordable option for families. We cannot accomplish our God-given vision without partners who are passionate about seeing a bright future, filled with hope, for lives to be changed by the hope of the world – Jesus Christ.
There are a lot of opinions about how to educate students for the future they will face. Certainly there will be changes in technology, communication and our culture. Some things will not change. People will still have the same basic needs for love, acceptance, meaning, purpose, forgiveness, dignity and significance. There will still be struggles with worry, loneliness, fear, guilt, resentment and pain.
The solution to all of these issues is the same today as it will be in 30 years: Jesus Christ.

What are Blue Sky Donors?
A Blue Sky Donor is someone who desires to see kids filled with a love for God, love for others and a desire to use their lives to impact the world. Blue Sky Donors believe in preparing kids through Christian education, and partner with Propeller Academy to utilize their God-given resources to prayerfully and financially support the vision of Propeller Academy.
Psalms 19:1 says “The heavens declare the Glory of God; and the skies proclaim the work of His hands”.
Every time a family looks up they see the work of God’s hand and with your support, Propeller Academy will leverage every moment with students so they are not only prepared with an excellent education – they will also will know Christ and influence the world for Him. Propeller students aren’t going to wait for years to influence the world, we are committed to exposing them to children around the world who need their help.
